Drug Liaison Committee
Formed in 1993, the Drug Liaison Committee facilitates co-operation and communication between the Narcotics Division and voluntary agencies.
The Committee has 35 members made up of representatives from the treatment and rehabilitation, drug education, and other agencies that handle drug problems as well as government representatives. It serves as a useful forum for the exchange of views between the Government and non-governmental organisations on a range of issues concerning drug-demand reduction and other drug-related matters.
Terms of Reference:
To provide a regular forum for the exchange of views between the Commissioner for Narcotics and agencies involved in drug demand reduction activities.
