Hospital-Social Multidisciplinary Collaboration Service for Dual-Diagnosed Patients (HSMC)

This project aims at providing multi-disciplinary case management service for substance abusers who need psychiatric inpatient or outpatient services. Project elements include face-to-face interviews and teleconsultations for substance abusers, carer support for carers of substance abusers and referral of substance abusers and carers to community drug treatment services for further support or treatment.
Innovative Medical Intervention for Drug Abusers by Using TMS

This project aims at strengthening the medical intervention for drug abusers by adopting an innovative technology – transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), to control cravings and motivate drug abusers who have already been diagnosed with severe mental illness to abstain from drugs. Project elements include preparation sessions for nursing assessment, TMS treatment sessions for drug abusers, weekly TMS treatment progress review, outcome assessment for treatment evaluation after TMS treatment and sharing sessions to community anti-drug stakeholders on project experience.
Peer Counsellor Advance Course

This project aims at upgrading the ability of currently and previously employed peer counsellors to assist other drug abusers. The project equips graduates of peer counsellor foundation courses with knowledge and skills to provide services to drug abusers. Project elements include 24-hour advanced training programme for peer counsellors, sharing of stories with anti-drug elements by peer counsellors and publication of a counselling manual with on-line version.
Win-Win Cooperation Created for Both Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation and Society

This project aims at providing vocational training courses to drug rehabilitees. After completion of training, rehabilitees offer home repair and maintenance services to low-income families and needy individuals. In the process of offering volunteer services to community, it will promote community acceptance of drug rehabilitees and facilitate rehabilitee’s reintegration into society. Project elements include vocational training on painting, installation of electrical appliances, plumbing, welding and air-conditioning, enrollment of participants in ‘Green Card’ safety training and examination as well as volunteer home repair and maintenance services to community.
Operation of Networking Hidden Drug Users 22 – Start a New Chapter

This project aims at linking up various existing drug rehabilitation services in the community to identify hidden drug abusers and motivate drug abusers to reduce drug use and attend long term drug rehabilitation programs. Project elements include community sharing sessions, dissemination of anti-drug information at YANASHIP Facebook page, physical and online outreaching services, clinical psychologist consultation services, psychiatric treatment services, traditional Chinese medical services, support groups for family members, mutual support groups for drug abusers, vocational training and motivation enhancement programmes.

This project aims at providing family-based support to drug-abusing families and enhancing intimate relationship between parents and children so as to prevent inter-generational drug abuse problem. Project elements include multi-disciplinary training for teachers/ social workers/ healthcare professionals and other related professionals, healthy family promotion work for general public, outreaching visits for drug-abusing parents and their family members, family/ children counselling support, family enrichment activities for drug abusers and their partners/ families/ children, support services for drug abusers/ rehabilitees and their partners/ families/ children, and life education groups for female drug abusers.
Family Step Up – Family-Based Service for Enhancing Resilience and Well-Being of Hidden Drug Abusers and Their Families

This project aims at enhancing family functions of hidden drug abusers and their family members through home-based intervention and family therapy. Project elements include professional training course, home-based case assessment, home-based individual counselling and skill enhancement, home-based individual in-depth counselling for hidden drug abusers and family members, home-based family counselling for families with hidden drug abuser, home-based mental health case assessment and health follow-up for hidden drug abusers, multiple family therapy groups, family reconnection celebration, medical follow-up and online or on-site medical consultations, emotional treatment group for hidden drug abusers and family members, peer support group for family members and interest-based experiential activities for hidden drug abusers.
CROSS FITNESS 3.0 --- A Community-Based Reintegrated Project for Young Drug Abusing Adults

This project aims at enhancing the physical wellbeing of drug abusers and enabling them to quit drugs or avoid relapse through exercise-based intervention. Project elements include volunteer group-based exercise program, sports competition, one-shot health-related or sports-related activities, sports fun fair, physical check-up, individual counselling and volunteer counselling service for drug abusers and ex-drug abusers, counselling services for significant others of drug abusers, community volunteer training, cognitive-behavioural relapse prevention groups, Peer Instructors Scheme, CROSS Fitness Centre, community service, outreaching “Physical Challenge” station and CROSS-Coin Donation Scheme.

This project aims at helping drug rehabilitees to face difficulties and challenges in the course of drug rehabilitation cycle. Project elements include mentor training for rehabilitated drug abusers and general public; volunteer and outreach training, mindfulness-based relapse prevention groups, peer support and therapeutic groups for drug rehabilitees; individual and career counselling for drug rehabilitees and hidden drug dependent persons; mentorship programme for drug rehabilitees, rehabilitated drug abusers and general public; and rehabilitee sharing cum graduation ceremony for anti-drug workers, mentors, drug rehabilitees and general public.
