Outstanding Projects in the 2021/22 School Year
The Narcotics Division has launched the “Beat Drugs with Sports” Programme from the 2017/18 school year. The Programme aims to promote healthy lifestyles and anti-drug messages in secondary schools through students’ participation in the organisation of sports-related and/or health-related activities, and in supporting student athletes taking part in sports competitions.
109 secondary schools participated in the Programme in the 2021/22 school year. All activities were completed by August 2022. With strong creativity, students of the participating schools designed, organised and implemented a wide variety of activities. Students’ awareness of drugs and their harms has been enhanced effectively, while students’ participation in sports has also been promoted. Recognition has been given to the following participating schools which implemented outstanding projects in the 2021/22 school year:
