“A Way to Healthy Life” - Anti-drug Education Scheme
Project Approved in 2005
This is a school project targeting students of different levels. For junior secondary students, they will be encouraged to join the anti-drug reporter training scheme whereas primary school students will be trained to be healthy living ambassadors. High-risk youths will also be provided with art performance training. College students will be recruited under the mentor scheme.

To organize visits, interviews, school talks, workshops and EQ training programmes for students, their parents and teachers. Anti-drug activities will be organized for families with special needs, such as ethnic minorities, children with disabilities, single parents and new arrivals, etc.
Community Care in Narrative Way

To recurit rehabilitated drug abusers to form a Reflective Team, which will eventually join with other parents and high-risk youths to form a Mega Reflective Team. Narrative therapy will be provided for all participants.
Beautify Your Life

To hold a colour painting competition for all primary school students. A comic featuring an addicted cartoon character will be used for this competition.
Tender Web: Parents’ Love, Kids No Drug

To target at parent education. A website especially designed for parents and a hotline will be operated. Parents with children as rehabilitated drug abusers will be recruited as Peer Counselors to share their experience with young people. School-based activities, exhibitions and parent workshops will be provided for primary and secondary schools.
Safe and Successful - A Prevention Education Programme for Parents

To target at parent education, which involves development of 1 skill-based curriculum and 1 self-study package. Parent workshops, seminars and individual coaching sessions will be organized.
Excellence with No Drugs
Project Approved in 2005
To strengthen the public awareness for prevention of cross boundary drug abuse. For high-risk youths, an adventure camp and visits will be arranged. Other anti-drug activities will also be held. Professionals in the anti-drug field will be invited to join a conference to share their experience with local social workers, educators, youths and their parents.
“Drug-free Together” Peer Counsellor Scheme

To recurit college students and volunteers as Peer Counselors, who will provide support to rehabilitated or occasional substance abusers. Assignments include drug abuse survey, exhibition, compilation of publicity leaflet, production of anti-drug short film and drama.
Resources Kit on “Treatment and Prevention Programs for Cough Medicine Abuser”
Project Approved in 2005
To compile a resource kit, featuring guidance and prevention of cough medicine abuse for youths, which will be distributed to frontline workers and police officers. The frontline workers will also be encouraged to provide preventive education for parents, based on the CD attached to the training kit.
Xperience - Beat Drugs Project

To visit popular spots to reach out to high-risk youths, where they will be provided with body-check and counseling service. A series of challenge courses, titled X-game, will be organized. Workshops will also be held for parents and teachers.
