This project aims at provide anti-drug preventive education to students with special education needs (SEN). Project elements include anti-drug talks to SEN students; life skill based education cum anti-drug awareness training to suspected or diagnosed SEN students; anti-drug parenting talks covering specific topics on drug harms and SEN parent-child relationships; communication skills training covering topics for parents on effective parenting and communication skills; and multi-session life skill cum anti-drug awareness training for SEN and students with intellectual disabilities aged 15 or above.
Beat Drugs@Mock Trial 2.0

This project aims at raising anti-drug awareness of primary to tertiary students by engaging them to have role play in “mock trial” of drug-related criminal cases. Project elements include volunteer trainings for tertiary students and general public; school-based activities (including sharing by rehabilitated drug abusers to primary students, anti-drug educational animation shows for primary students, dissemination of anti-drug thematic animated illustration using webapp technology activities for secondary students and mock trial workshops for tertiary students); visits to court hearings for primary and secondary students; pre-mock trial interactive workshops and sharing of mentors from legal field; mock trial competition for primary to tertiary schools; and opening and prize presentation ceremony each year with exhibition and sharing session.
Project NET IV – Drug Prevention in Hostel and Community Service

This project aims at enhancing alertness and insight of drug-taking among high-risk youths living in hostels and their parents, and enhancing parent-child relationship so as to reduce the risk of drug abuse. Project elements include pre-discharge supporting service for high-risk youths including art cum narrative therapy, skill enhancement or interest groups and animal assisted activity/therapy; post-discharge supporting service for high-risk youths including counselling for skill enhancement/interest development; family support services including home-based visits, casework and seminar/workshop; and community support including training parents and members of the general public to form a reflecting team or parent volunteer group to provide encouragement for high-risk youths or their parents.
Outreach for LGBTQ Sex Workers

This project aims at strengthening the anti-drug awareness of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) sex workers. Project elements include outreaching to LGBTQ sex workers; dissemination of anti-drug booklets and professional counselling to drug abusing sex workers; and recruiting volunteers to attend training for spreading anti-drug messages to LGBTQ sex workers during the outreach sessions.

This project aims at strengthening the anti-drug awareness of youths, high-risk youths and parents of ethnic minority groups in Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai and Tuen Mun districts. Project elements include sharing sessions by rehabilitated drug abusers; anti-drug parenting workshops; sharing sessions by ethnic minority celebrities, drug crime and legal responsibility awareness workshops; visits to residentialdrug rehabilitation centres, anti-drug movie production workshops; outreaching services; professional counselling services; youth volunteer services; anti-drug ambassador training scheme; mutual support group for young adults; anti-drug adventure camps, sports and art-based activities; and anti-drug carnivals.

This project aims at strengthening the anti-drug attitude of young people and equipping them to become peer Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) with a mission to disseminate anti-drug messages in social media. Project elements include talks/webinars with anti-drug elements; peer KOL training groups; peer KOL practicum; peer KOL activity day (visit and experience exchange activities); set up of project’s Facebook, Instagram and Discord network communities; online outreaching services by social workers; and practice sharing meetings for schools and NGOs.

This project aims at raising the anti-drug awareness of young people and ethnic minority youths through nano-movie competition and a community-wide anti-drug publicity programme. Project elements include nano-movie production techniques workshops; anti-drug volunteer training workshops; “Your Choice” Nano-movie Competition, competition award presentation ceremony; public showcase and roving exhibition of shortlisted and award winning nano-movies; and “Blazing Spirit” district-based programme for dissemination of anti-drug messages throughout 18 districts.

This project aims at strengthening the anti-drug awareness of ethnic minorities of Nepalese origin. Project elements include anti-drug workshops for Nepalese people covering topics on drug harm, parenting skills, adolescent problem and a sharing by drug rehabilitee; interest classes (such as cooking class, dancing class, football, art and computer skill training); dissemination of anti-drug information on social media; outreach to homeless individuals, drug abusers, and general public of Nepalese community, with distribution of preventive educational materials and visits to Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres in Hong Kong.
